Fourteen members of the Ray Brooks School Student Tech Team in Benoit will receive certificates of recognition and computer jump drives for the outstanding service provided by them to their school during the 2005-2006 school year. Quitman County Middle School (QCMS) hosted its first Parent Technology Night during the spring semester this year. Thirty-five parents and twenty students attended the two-hour program held from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. in order to give working parents an opportunity to attend. Technology Facilitator Valerie Reed coordinated the evening’s program, which was designed to inform parents about the importance of technology and the many ways that it is being used at QCMS.
