Community Information


New Hebron is located 16 miles northeast of Monticello, near the Jefferon Davis and Simpson County lines. Founded in 1903 by Franklin L. Riley, when he donated land to the Gulf & Ship Island Railroad for right of way.

About the School New Hebron Attendance Center

Our goal is to teach all children and provide the safest possible environment conducive to learning. Our faculty is dedicated to providing the best possible educational experience possible by involving the parents and community in the learning process. We invite you to come visit our campus! Our mission is to develop a partnership between parents, teachers, students, and administrators in providing a safe and harmonious atmosphere conducive to achieving the highest level of learning possible for each student.



Tech Team


Selection Process


The New Hebron Attendance Center Student Tech Team was selected from the following criteria:

  • Grades
  • Behavior
  • Interest in technology
The Student Tech Team is also an intervention for students who have the interest in technology but may have behavioral problems. The students meet four times a week for a computer literacy class. They learn technology skills and basic troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities


The New Hebron Attendance Center Student Tech Team is responsible for troubleshooting computer problems, updating computers, disk cleanup, etc. The students also are used to take digital photographs for the school newsletter, yearbook, and classroom teachers. The Tech team is New Hebron's first line of defense for common computer problems and for assistance in the classroom.
